The story
AscendCRM started around a family dinner table. One of us sells homes for a living; the others build software. And we kept coming back to the same frustration: the thing that makes a business great, the relationships, was getting buried under admin.
Agents were checking six apps every morning (Instagram, WhatsApp, email, the listing portal) and still letting real people slip through the cracks. The next client was always sitting in a message nobody had opened.
So we built AscendCRM to do the opposite of what most tech does. Instead of putting another screen between you and your client, it clears the busywork out of the way. It remembers everyone, drafts the follow-ups, and hands them to you to approve. The typing is automated; the relationship never is.
Today we're a growing Calgary startup, and we still answer our own phone. Email us and you reach a person who actually built the thing, not a ticket queue. The team is getting bigger; that habit isn't going anywhere.
