A Calgary startup that believes business is still about people

We started as a team of three in Calgary. We built AscendCRM to take the busywork off your plate, so the human parts of the job (the call, the handshake, the trust) get all of your attention.

The story

AscendCRM started around a family dinner table. One of us sells homes for a living; the others build software. And we kept coming back to the same frustration: the thing that makes a business great, the relationships, was getting buried under admin.

Agents were checking a handful of apps every morning (Instagram, WhatsApp, email, the listing portal) and still letting real people slip through the cracks. The next client was always sitting in a message nobody had opened.

So we built AscendCRM to do the opposite of what most tech does. Instead of putting another screen between you and your client, it clears the busywork out of the way. It remembers everyone, has the follow-up ready, and anything Tara writes waits for your approval. The typing is handled; the relationship never is.

Today we're a small Calgary startup. Email us and you reach a person who actually built the thing, not a ticket queue, and that habit isn't going anywhere.
